Aloha Drapery needed a smarter way to sell custom window treatments online, so we built them a fully custom e-commerce platform that handles the complex pricing and configuration their products require.
Aloha Drapery is a Honolulu-based retailer backed by Kreative Kamaʻāina, a team with over 26 years of experience in the sales and manufacturing of custom soft furnishings. Their catalog spans made-to-order drapery, ready-to-hang panels, and pillows designed for both residential and commercial interiors, all carrying a 100% Satisfaction Guaranty and certified made in Hawaiʻi.
Selling custom drapery online is not straightforward. Fabric choices, sizing, lining options, and other variables make standard e-commerce platforms a poor fit. Starting in 2017, we designed and built a custom web app from the ground up, with a pricing and configuration engine that matches exactly how Aloha Drapery sells. Customers can move through the ordering process on a computer or phone without confusion, and the business can manage its catalog without wrestling with software that was never built for this kind of product.
